ICT: Enabling Collaboration and Transformation in Higher Education

The CITTE 2006 conference will take place from 18 to 20 September 2006, in South Africa at the St George Hotel near Pretoria. This biennial conference is the key research and networking event for researchers, strategists, academics, technologists, librarians and practitioners in ICT in Higher Education.

The theme for this year's conference is ICT: Enabling Collaboration and Transformation in Higher Education. The theme will be explored in three concurrent tracks:
* ICT: Strategy and Governance
* ICT: Teaching, Learning and Research
* ICT: Administration, Security and Technical

The keynote speakers are:

Mike Zastrocky - Gartner Vice President and Research Director: Academic Strategies
Mervyn King - the well known Corporate Governance guru
Helaine Leggat - Director i-Forest and head of Business Services at Michalsons Attorneys
